Gone to Thailand (well, almost!)

As so many of you know, such the traveller that Ian is he has made his parents take a 3-year work assignment in Thailand so that he can enjoy the beaches and warm (I mean hot) weather of Southern Asia. In fact Dad leaves for Bangkok tonight while Mom and Ian stay on in the US for a few more days. Mom will also be sworn in as a US Citizen at the end of the month - well done Mom!

The next fews weeks will be a little disrupted for us all as we travel between the US, UK and Thailand but by mid-September we hope to be settled and in our new apartment. Ian will enjoy posting a few photo's of his new home as soon as he gets there so in the meantime we will be mostly limited to posting written updates on the Blog about family life for us all.

We will miss our many friends, neighbors and work associates in Boise but we know we will be back one day. We have been blessed to have met so many wonderful people in our time here that we will always have a soft spot for Idaho and the treasure valley. And of course, Ian's birthplace is here after all so we stay forever connected. Please stay in touch everybody!

Now let the adventure begin!

Love and Best Wishes

What a wonderful adventure ahead for the Preble family! I'll visit Asia vicariously on your blog -- and what fun it will be to see it all through Ian's perspective!

Congratulations Barb -- now you're "one of us" kinda.

Love to you all -- best health and happiness.
