Down the Park ... and having fun
Ian has been sick this last week. His first day at school and the end the week before ended up with Ian getting conjunctivitus and tonsilitis! He even had a reaction to the medicine he was prescribed so after a frantic visit to the hospital last week we finally got the right medication and Ian made a slow recovery. Suffice to say Ian was back on form on Saturday so Mom and Dad took Ian to the park, which is where we see Mom and Ian in the photos tonight. Mom and Ian are standing in front of a large buddist sculpture at the park entrance and we also see them both hanging out on a park bench watching the world go by. Our local park is about 5 minutes from the house and is adorned with modern art sculptures all round it. All rather nice on a Sunday afternoon stroll! We also see Ian "frolicking" in the balls which he has in his play room .... and back to the fun-loving Ian we all know and love as his week of sickness made for a rather miserable little boy.
Mom and Dad are finally getting the home sorted and have now beeen able to have a dinner date 'sans' Ian, who stays at home with Wilai, our maid. This new found freedom for Mom and Dad comes at a welcome time as we we are now well into the 'honeymoon phase' of our time here and are now beginning to feel comfortable with our new surroundings.
