Look at the Boys!
Ian and Dad are looking forward to a fun-filled new year, with the prospect of some skiing ahead. We show Ian and Dad already in the winter spirit with hats and 'shades' on - now let's head to the slopes!

Boxing Day Fun!
Generally a day to hang out and not do much ..... unless you are Ian, of course! We see Ian doing what he did for most of today - play with his toys. A bit of naked mat time, plus pulling down the stackable blocks (how many times did we do that?!). Back to work for Daddy on Wednesday, so back to Blogging again on Saturday night. If you still have time off work/school yourself, enjoy every minute of it!

Wonderful Christmas!
Ian enjoyed his first christmas, playing in amongst the wrapping paper this morning while Mommy and Daddy opened most of his gifts for him! We see Ian tonight playing with a few of his new toys, namely his Retro Rocket and Mr. Catapilla! More photo's to enjoy tomorrow too, so check back!

Goodnight from Baby Santa!
Ian had a wonderful Christmas eve, which began with an Irish breakfast (thanks Lisa and Seamus!) with the 'Irish crowd' here in Boise. We then went to early mass at St. Mary's and Ian loved the nativity play and was so well behaved throughout his first Christmas service. We ended up our day at Kevin and Kelly's house for a wonderful Christmas eve dinner before Ian finally tired and hit the sack. Tonight we see Mom and Ian, again Ian sporting his now famous Baby Santa suit. How he loves to wear it!

Happy Christmas everybody. Get to bed now, be good ...... and maybe Santa will leave you some pressies!

Two Days to Christmas!
We catch Ian and Mommy gazing into the christmas ornaments tonight! Both of them are very excited (as is Daddy!). Ian has the largest pile of parcels ever waiting for him under the tree. Now that he is able to crawl, we are constantly fighting to keep his fingers from pawing over the gifts as he heads striaght for the tree any chance he gets! Not long now before we set him loose on them! We'll be posting photo's each day over the Christmas break, so check back for more photo's tomorrow!

Daddy Got Sick!
Apologies for the lack of a posting this weekend, but I have been laid up with the Flu. Suffice to say I will make it up on Tuesday and post several previously unseen photo's from the 'Baby Santa Shoot'! It will be worth the wait I can tell you. Ian is getting excited for Christmas, as is Mommy and Daddy!

The NICU Holiday Party!
Ian attended his first NICU Holiday party this week, where he again met up with his room-mate while he was in hospital. Brenner and Ian hung out for quite a while, both enjoying the attention of many of the Nurses who cared for them while in the unit. It was great to see so many healthy babies and children at the event, a great testament to how far medical advances have been able to allow the very premature babies to survive and grow healthily. Of course, we had to dress Ian in some festive attire. Doesn't he look cute?! Only 15 days to Christmas!!!!

Gettin' in the Mood for Christmas!
How exciting! Ian helped Mom and Dad trim the christmas tree tonight. Though rather than putting ornaments on the tree, Ian tended to prefer to pull them off! None-the-less, he clearly enjoyed seeing the lights go on and the sheer size of the tree compared to him seems daunting.
Ian had his first cold, sniffle and fever this week too. Thursday wasn't a nice day for him as he battled a 101 degree fever, but some ectrolyte fluids and some loving care from Mommy did the trick. This coming week Ian attends the NICU Holiday Party so he'll see his room-mates from hospital again.
