Ian Karl
Known to his parents-to-be as "Bumper", Ian Karl was born eleven weeks early after his Mom, Barbara developed Preeclampsia. Ian was born on January 22, 2006 and started his life in the new born intensive care unit (NICU) at the local hosptial.

Christmas week ....
Ian had a very merry christmas, spending his time in Santa Monica, CA with his buddy Wesley. The weeks events included a trip to Universal Studios in Hollywood where Ian (and Mom & Dad) rode many rides including Transformers 3D where Ian also got to meet a real Transformer (see photo). We also saw the 'Waterworld' show (incredilble) and got to meet the Grinch himself and his well behaved dog. We also spent time on the beach in Malibu, paddling among the rocks and enjoying a stunning California day. We ended our trip with a drive along Mullholland Drive where Ian got to see LA from above (see Ian pictured with LA behind him in the dark). What a terrific week we had and many thanks to our wonderful hosts Nicky, Anthony and of course Wesley for making it such.
School Concert
Ian peformed in his school concert today, giving a rendition of several wonderful carols and holiday songs. Ian looked dashing in his 'smart attire' and stood in the front row and sang his heart out for all to see!

Ian loves to be in photos (if you didn't already know that!). Here we see Ian with Santa, at the local community barn christmas event where we live. And Ian-the-model posing in his christmas concert attire. GQ will be calling soon we think!
Glowing Garden
Tonight Ian went to the Winter Garden a Glow. Thousands of lights at the Botanical Garden made for a very festive evening. Ian has now also started boxing as part of his Tae Kwon Do lessons and can be seen here thumping the bag with all his might!
