Wee Sunny Scotland
What a terrific long weekend we all had in Scotland. A short flight to Inverness, then a quick ride along the shores of Loch Ness to Fort Augustus to meet up with Ian's long time girlfriend Jessica and her parents, Colin and Fiona. Fantastic weather throughout made for a great trip, including a steam train ride on the 'Harry Potter' Hogwarts Express train (called The Jacobite), a high speed boat trip up the Loch to visit the Urquart Castle on the Loch Ness shore and the chance to board the largest lifeboat in the RNLI fleet and sit in the Captain's chair. A truly enjoyable weekend, great food, great company and lots of fun for Ian and Jessica.

Portugal was fun!
Ian had a blast in sunny Portugal. Since Dad had to work and could only join for the weekend, Ian's Nanny Margaret went along too. Everybody had a great time at a fabulous resort with six pools, private beach and wonderful hospitality. We're going back, that's for sure!
